The Harmony of Nature VS. Man-Made Modern Society

You are a creative, rhythmic human being- dancing and singing is a natural part of human existence.  Research conducted on babies demonstrate that we instinctually respond more to the rhythm and tempo of music than speech, just like animals.  When we dance, we feel free.  Modern Society has destroyed the natural rhythm of nature, because of our ego’s need for power and control.   

Try waking up every morning and stretching while being grateful to the sun, moon, and other parts of the universe.  Then take 10 minutes to dance your way to happiness and re-align your body with movement.  Watch this TedTalk to find out more about the importance of moving and dance along to see how you feel afterwards:

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a frame of mind or way of being that focuses on the present moment instead of worrying about the past or future. It is a combination of being aware and accepting without judgment. For example, if a glass of milk spills, your options include:

1.) Yell and scream, resulting in the glass breaking too

2.)Be upset that the milk is out of the glass and on the floor

3.)Not react, it already spilled, you have to clean it up whether you get upset or not

Just accepting that it occured, without blame or judgment does not make the situation any different. Either way it needs to be cleaned up and hopefully, you did not over-react to the point that the glass broke too, or you did not swear in front of your children, or you did not scream to the point that your cat ran away, or you did not get yourself so worked up that your blood pressure increased and now you are in a bad mood.
