Always Love Unconditionally, but your Trust and Respect must be earned.
Love Thy Neighbor does not just mean to love people in your community, it means to accept all as they are. Whether it is a plant, animal, or person. No human is perfect, to not love your family or friends because of their imperfections or indiscretions means you will not love anyone, including yourself. This means to accept yourself with flaws and imperfections and not put judgments on yourself for not being perfect. Love yourself and accept the things that you do not agree with or understand. Love your fellow humans as you would love the ones you care about, despite their race, religion, or culture. Love and accept people who you do not share the same values with or agree with. Love is a universal language and there is no need for hate on this planet, at this time there is too much hurt that you do not want to add hate, even if you do not agree. You will not always understand your fellow man/woman, but you should love them anyways. You will not understand all religions, cultures, or sexual orientations and as a human you are not sitting high enough in a thrown to judge. If someone is “different,” they have a hard enough life already, do not make it harder, this is not your purpose. This means include others and learn new things or understandings from diversity. Create equitable opportunities, which does not always mean equal. A person born in the US is born with advantages over someone born in a war torn country, this is not because one person is better than the other, it is by chance and no one deserves to suffer. Giving the person equal food is not the same as making their opportunities equitable. They may have the same food as the person in the US, but they are still behind due to their environment and their different experiences. If you have an advantage over others, find ways to make it more equitable, because you might have been born in a different place or time period. Always be grateful for what you do have.
